Summary of Position:
- Under general supervision, assist on planning and oversees all functions of Quality assurance and Quality control system for the operations and department.
- Duties include assisting and supporting the QHSE department on all quality and control jobs for the company operations, quality policies and procedures throughout the organizations, assisting on quality records and internal audits. And assist on the maintaining and improvement of all food safety requirements and quality management system of the company operations- Restaurants and Unit and or related functions.
- Performs tasks which require in any Food safety matters and in-depth knowledge of unit operations and objectives like, Inspection on a regular basis of the Restaurant and Unit and provide reports in a timely manner.
- Provide high-level food safety quality assurance and control assistance to the QHSE Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Biology or Food Technology or Microbiology
Or related subjects.
- Preferences with 3 to 5 years of experience directly related to the Food Safety
Inspection and Hygiene requirements of the Restaurants and Catering business,
- Quality Management System plus the duties and Responsibilities specified.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Food safety management principles and practices preferably experienced in HACCP/GMP’S and practices.
- Knowledge of Quality Management System and requirements with experience of internal auditing is an advantage.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, methods, and techniques in area of specialty.
- Knowledgeable to Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports as necessary
- Customer and personal service – knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- English Language – knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammars.
- Public Safety and Security – knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local security operations for the protection of people- employees, property and institutions.
Skills:
- Skills in the use of personal computers and related software applications
- Have supervisory skills.
- Ability to supervise and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work tasks and assignments.
- Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Monitoring / assessing performance of other individuals, or organizations to make improvement or take corrective actions.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and quality records.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Strong understanding of GMP & HACCP
- Right answering to all doubts on Food Handling Procedures as per policy.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspection to all Restaurants and Units in regular and timely basis as per the food safety management standard and practices without time limit.
- Assist and coordinates to QHSE in the timely execution of program policy, procedures, and operations, monitoring of compliance with standard policies, procedures, regulations, and appropriate standard thru Quality management system and Food safety management system of the company
- Assists to QHSE with the development and implementation of reporting procedures; oversees maintenance of department quality records and/or any paper works and reporting.
- Assist and Coordinates department programs, seminars, workshops, travel arrangements, special projects, and/or events; may coordinate program/project development and planning in accordance with the QHSE Department jobs and functions.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the management.
- Writes and periodically updates reports as necessary for the Operations Restaurant and Units based on the inspection visit and findings.
- Assist on the internal audit programmed schedule and plans of the QA-QC for both ISO and HACCP System.
- Assist on conducting trainings on food safety and Quality Management system
