Position Overview: As a Retail Sales Executive specializing in FMCG, you will be responsible for driving sales and maximizing revenue within our retail channels. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders in the FMCG sector, ensuring that our products are prominently featured and effectively promoted to consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and specialty retailers, to drive sales and increase market penetration.
• Execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives within assigned territories or accounts.
• Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to assess product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards. • Coordinate with distributors and wholesalers to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of products to retail stores.
• Train retail staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques to enhance product knowledge and drive sales.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store activations to drive consumer engagement and sales.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, market data, and performance metrics to track progress and identify opportunities for growth.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and building relationships with retail partners.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and promotional activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
• A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving targets and delivering results.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
