Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineering to oversee the maintenance and operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a proven track record of managing a team and ensuring the efficient functioning of all facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of the properties, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute renovations and upgrades.
• Manage the budget for the engineering department, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, as well as equipment inventory and warranties.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology, and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in engineering.
• Proven track record of managing a team and overseeing maintenance operations in a hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in computer applications and maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of local safety and environmental regulations.
