KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the agency, managing day-to-day communications.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and marketing needs.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on marketing, advertising, and branding strategies.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Lead the development of comprehensive marketing and advertising strategies tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, digital, media, etc.) to develop innovative solutions for client campaigns.
- Oversee the execution of marketing plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects and campaigns, coordinating timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Set clear expectations and ensure that project milestones and deliverables align with client objectives.
- Conduct regular status meetings with clients and internal teams to track progress and resolve issues.
Account Growth and Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities within existing client accounts and develop strategies to expand the agency's services.
- Lead proposal development, presentations, and pitches for new projects and initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts and manage account profitability, including budget control and financial tracking.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor account management teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Work closely with the creative, production, digital, media, and finance teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to ensure team members' professional growth and success.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports for clients, providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Lead post-campaign analyses to identify successes, areas for improvement, and opportunities for account growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 7+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related role within a marketing or advertising agency.
- Experience in managing high-profile client accounts and large-scale marketing campaigns.
- Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts in Qatar.
- Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, including digital, media, branding, and content strategies in Qatar.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and mentor cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Programs such as PowerPoint, CRM software, project management tools, and marketing analytics platforms.
- Flexible work schedule – must be available evenings & weekends depending on accounts requirements
- Valid passport and Qatar Residence Permit for national & international travel, as required
