Overview:
United Feed Co. is a leading agricultural company that produces high-quality animal feed for livestock and poultry. We are currently seeking a talented and driven Finance Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The Finance Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial reports to aid in decision-making and strategic planning. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and reporting to join our growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Conduct variance analysis against budget and forecast to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
- Identify areas of inefficiency and work with management to implement cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to financial reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and reporting, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Valid SOCPA certificate
