Job Summary:
The Cost Controller is responsible for managing and controlling costs within the hospitality division, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of cost management principles and the ability to analyze financial data to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control all costs related to the hospitality operations, including food and beverage, labor, and operational expenses.
- Prepare and analyze cost reports, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends and variances.
- Implement cost control measures and procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide insights on cost management and advise on budgetary constraints.
- Maintain and update the hospitality ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on cost performance and recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any Business-related course.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller in the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in Hospitality ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced skills in Excel and reporting, including pivot tables and data analysis.
