Project Engineer (Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Installation) - NAFFCO

Responsible for planning, executing, and delivering fire fighting and fire alarm installation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all works meet contractual obligations and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:
- Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Review contract requirements and ensure all deliverables align with client expectations.

Team Management:
- Lead and manage site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Material Management:
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment as per project needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.

Coordination and Communication:
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project progress.
- Participate in project meetings and address concerns proactively.

Progress Monitoring:
- Track project milestones and ensure adherence to approved schedules.
- Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to stakeholders.

Compliance:
- Ensure installation works comply with NFPA standards, UAE Fire Code, and other relevant regulations.
- Address non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.

Handover:
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover of systems to the client.
- Prepare project closeout documents, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and warranty certificates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management for fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Proficient in NFPA standards, UAE Fire Code, and construction practices.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Valid UAE driving license required.
