Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and manage events from conception to completion, including budgeting, timeline management, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and create detailed event plans that align with their vision.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, including venues, caterers, audio-visual technicians, and other event suppliers.
• Manage event logistics, including venue setup, transportation, and guest accommodations.
• Oversee event marketing and promotion strategies to attract attendees and increase brand awareness.
• Manage event staff, including event coordinators, volunteers, and other support personnel.
• Ensure all events are executed smoothly, on time, and within budget.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for future events.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
• Proven track record of successfully managing events of various sizes and complexities.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
