Freyssinet Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to join our team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and optimising our procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

* Develop and implement strategic procurement plans and policies to maximise cost savings and efficiency
* Manage the procurement lifecycle from supplier identification and evaluation to contract negotiation and administration
* Negotiate and finalise contracts with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions
* Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and cost
* Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, fostering collaboration and innovation
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement
* Train and mentor junior procurement staff
* Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering, Finance, and Operations, to ensure alignment and streamline processes

Qualifications

* Bachelor's of (Engineering) or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior procurement role within a construction or engineering industry
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of procurement principles and industry best practices
* Proficiency in procurement software and systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
