Freyssinet Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading company in the construction industry. As an HSE Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and subcontractors on project sites. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and international best practices. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans and procedures for construction projects.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify and assess potential hazards.
* Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
* Provide HSE training and awareness programmes for employees and subcontractors.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable local and international HSE regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, including inspections, incidents, and training.
* Collaborate with project management teams to integrate HSE considerations into all phases of the project lifecycle.
* Participate in HSE audits and inspections conducted by external agencies.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest HSE best practices and regulations.
* Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an HSE Engineer in the construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
* Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* NEBOSH certification is highly desirable.
* Valid Saudi driving licence is preferred.
