Project Procurement & Contracts Officer - SDRS
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Law / Contracts Management.
- Proven experience in project coordination, contract handling, or project procurement.
- Experience working on diverse project types (technical, construction, services, etc.).
- Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to manage documentation, contractor communications, and handle multi-department coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and consolidate all project-related information upon request initiation.
- Develop and propose project budgets based on the scope and requirements.
- Coordinate between the requesting department, contractors, and consultants as needed.
- Communicate with contractors, collect quotations, and ensure they meet project specifications.
- Review and ensure quotations comply with project and commercial requirements.
- Negotiate pricing where applicable.
- Verify if the project requires a consultant before execution and assist in preparing BOQs and layouts.
- Prepare comparison sheets for quotations and obtain necessary approvals from management.
- Draft and prepare contracts with consultants, contractors or any type of service provider.
- Monitor ongoing projects, addressing any arising issues or bottlenecks.
- Follow up on payment schedules and ensure timely processing for contractors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and in accordance with the approved scope.
- Prepare and submit daily reports for all current, pending, and new projects.
