Grand Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee all aspects of the general ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
* Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting, providing valuable insights to management for decision-making.
* Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
* Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
* Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
* Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly preferred.
* Proven experience of 4+ years as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in relation to UK-English accounting standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
