Alfarabi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registrar Clinical Pathology to join our team in Al Qunfudhah, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities
* Examine and analyse specimens from various sources to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
* Perform and interpret laboratory tests in areas such as haematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.
* Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results, maintaining meticulous records and adhering to quality control procedures.
* Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, providing expert consultation and interpretation of laboratory findings.
* Participate in continuing professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in clinical pathology.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and technologies.
* Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to all relevant safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pathology (e.g., MRCPath or equivalent).
* Full registration with the relevant medical council or licensing authority in Saudi Arabia is essential.
* Proven experience as a Registrar or equivalent role in Clinical Pathology.
* Comprehensive knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and quality control procedures.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
