Euro Motors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Custom Clearing Officer to join our team in Sitrah, Bahrain. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing investment firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient customs clearance processes for a variety of goods, adhering to all relevant Bahraini regulations and company policies. This role specifically requires Bahraini nationality due to legal requirements for customs clearance procedures in Bahrain.
Responsibilities:
- Received all documents related to Customs from Sales Admin department.
- Making a copy of all Customs documents and submitted to accounts and sales admin department.
- Receiving permission shipping goods from the shipping agent.
- Taking the approval documents from Ministry of Trade and the Environment.
- I do all the customs clearance procedures.
- I do clearance of goods from the customs.
- I do clearance of goods from the port.
- To coordinate between the company and customs regarding the customs clearance process.
- The work of all the letters and follow-up between the company and customs.
- Coordination between transport companies to transfer and loading of all Vehicles and Spare parts to the company.
- Coordination of Stevedoring workers in the port.
- Coordination between the shipping agents and the company.
- Coordination between customs regarding the export process.
- Follow up with the return of customs fees.
- Coordination between the customs and customers regarding export.
- Keeping all the supporting documents and refer to them in case of audit.
- Provide accounts department by supporting documents of all amount spent in customs clearance process.
- I do claim of all amount spent in customs clearance process.
- Flow the Company Policy.
Qualifications:
- Bahraini Nationality (essential due to legal requirements).
- Proven experience in customs clearance within Bahrain.
- Strong understanding of Bahraini customs regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
