Occupational Therapy - Sky Clinic
Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to enhance beneficiaries’ independence and ability to perform daily living activities. This is achieved by developing their motor, cognitive, and sensory skills, and promoting their adaptation to the environment using therapeutic strategies and assistive techniques tailored to their individual needs, with the aim of improving their quality of life and facilitating their integration into society.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Comply with the center’s policies, procedures, quality improvement goals, safety standards, environmental regulations, and infection control protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive rehabilitation and functional assessments for beneficiaries with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities.
- Use standardized and non-standardized assessment tools to evaluate beneficiaries’ capabilities.
- Provide individual therapy sessions for children and adolescents using appropriate therapeutic approaches.
- Identify beneficiaries’ needs, abilities, and potentials to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs aligned with the beneficiaries’ goals.
- Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including department supervisors, beneficiary services, and other specialists as required.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, in consultation with the direct supervisor.
- Prepare case reports for beneficiaries.
- Cases should not be discharged without prior approval from the department head.
- Educate beneficiaries’ families about occupational therapy rehabilitation, expected outcomes, and strategies for managing conditions.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to help beneficiaries and families cope with rehabilitation challenges.
- Participate in planning and implementing future center development, including updating policies and procedures when needed.
- Adhere to the scope of practice and rehabilitation privileges as defined by center policy.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with beneficiaries and their families, as well as a collaborative work environment with staff.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all beneficiary and staff information, whether written, verbal, or shared on social media, unless prior written consent is obtained.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in accordance with organizational policy.
- Promote a safe environment that enhances beneficiaries’ independence, quality of life, and wellbeing.
- Prepare periodic reports during and after therapy sessions.
- Provide training and education for interns and specialists in occupational therapy.
- Participate in organizing workshops and lectures for families, specialists, and community members regarding occupational therapy.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Medical Sciences / Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation.
- Valid registration and classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Experience: 3–6 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably with a strong background in pediatric rehabilitation.

- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer use.
- Advanced diagnostic and assessment skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with beneficiaries and families.
- Initiative and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including handling complex cases.
- Proficiency in using modern rehabilitation devices and equipment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Professionalism in client interactions.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage time effectively.
