Alzayani Investments is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to join our finance team. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to gain hands-on experience within a prestigious organisation. The successful candidate will support our finance department in daily accounting tasks, contributing to our continued success while developing essential industry skills.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the management of accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support the finance team in preparing bank reconciliations and financial statements.
• Help with the preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
• Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain and organise financial documents, both physical and digital.
• Assist in data entry, verification, and the maintenance of the general ledger.
• Perform administrative and other ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance team.
Qualifications:
• Recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• A strong foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in MS Excel.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with an eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.
