Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Landscape Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our agricultural and landscaping projects. This role involves managing a team of grounds staff to ensure the successful implementation, maintenance, and health of various landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and agriculture, with specific expertise in managing landscapes within an arid climate.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of gardeners and landscape technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance management.

• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work schedules for all landscaping and grounds maintenance activities, including planting, irrigation, pruning, fertilising, and pest control.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all areas meet high standards of quality and aesthetic appeal.

• Manage the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage, particularly in the challenging Riyadh climate.

• Oversee the health of plants, trees, and turf, identifying and addressing issues such as disease, pests, and nutrient deficiencies.

• Ensure all landscaping operations comply with company health and safety policies and environmental regulations.

• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, placing orders as necessary.

• Prepare and present regular reports to management on project progress, team performance, and resource allocation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma or degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Management, or a related field is highly desirable.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the landscaping or agricultural sector.

• Strong knowledge of plant science, soil management, and horticultural practices suitable for an arid environment.

• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

• Excellent organisational and project management skills.

• Proficient in the use and maintenance of landscaping equipment and irrigation systems.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• A valid driving licence is preferred.
