About the Opportunity
A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Risk & Governance Specialist to support the continued development of its enterprise risk framework. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to strengthen risk management practices, governance processes and regulatory compliance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of enterprise and operational risk frameworks.
- Facilitate Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs).
- Monitor operational risk events and maintain risk registers.
- Prepare risk reports for senior management and governance committees.
- Assist with business continuity and resilience initiatives.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and recommend improvements.
- Develop and review policies, procedures and control documentation.
- Work with business units to identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Promote a strong risk culture across the organisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or similar.
- 5+ years' experience within Operational or Enterprise Risk.
- Experience with governance, controls and risk reporting.
- Knowledge of RCSA methodology.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Banking or financial services experience preferred.
