We are currently seeking a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining information in our company databases. This role is crucial for our operational success, ensuring that our data is precise, up-to-date, and easily accessible to support our rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities
* Accurately and efficiently input a high volume of data from various sources, including customer orders, supplier details, and internal records, into our digital systems.
* Review and verify data for errors, omissions, or inconsistencies, making corrections as necessary to ensure data integrity.
* Organise and maintain physical and digital files to ensure they are properly managed and easily retrievable.
* Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to safeguard data.
* Scan documents and print files when needed, maintaining a systematic filing system.
* Uphold data confidentiality and adhere to company security policies at all times.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve data discrepancies and support their data-related needs.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role.
* Exceptional typing speed and accuracy, with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
* Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and scanners.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is an asset.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
