Job Responsibilities:

As a Purchasing/Procurement Specialist at Skywater Technology, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless acquisition of materials and services essential for our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company goals.
Identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships to ensure the best value for the organization.
Managing the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast material needs and optimize inventory levels.
Analyzing market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
Preparing and processing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Supporting sustainability initiatives by identifying eco-friendly suppliers and materials.
Participating in continuous improvement projects to enhance procurement practices and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the technology or manufacturing sectors.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
