Responsibilities
As a Live Chat Agent, you will be responsible for managing real-time customer interactions and ensuring a seamless experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging professionally with customers via our live chat platform to answer questions and provide immediate support.
- Developing a deep understanding of our product range, including MUTCD signs, street signs, custom signage, and safety equipment, to offer accurate information.
- Assisting customers with the entire sales process, from product selection and customisation to order placement and tracking.
- Resolving customer issues, complaints, and inquiries efficiently and with a high degree of empathy.
- Guiding users through our website to help them find the products that meet their specific needs.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales and production, to address complex customer requirements.
- Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and feedback to contribute to service improvements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to help customers. Required qualifications include:
- Proven experience in a customer service role, with previous experience as a live chat agent being highly advantageous.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, patient, and professional demeanour.
- Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with CRM software and digital communication tools.
- A proactive and customer-centric approach to all tasks.
- An interest in or experience with the manufacturing or signage industry is desirable but not essential.
