We are currently seeking a highly organised and personable Front Office Coordinator to join our team at our Houston, Texas, United States location. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, playing a crucial role in shaping the visitor experience and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $32 - $35 USD.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for the company, greeting clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
* Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
* Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages.
* Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff.
* Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
* Order front office supplies and keep an accurate inventory of stock.
* Provide general administrative and clerical support to various departments as required.
* Ensure the reception area and conference rooms are tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Front Office Coordinator, Receptionist, or in a similar administrative role.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A professional demeanour and a customer-service-oriented approach.
* Ability to be resourceful and proactive when dealing with issues that may arise.
* A high school diploma is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
* Previous experience within the technology or manufacturing industry is advantageous but not essential.
