Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, including preparing estimates, budget analysis, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects
• Analyze and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to the project team
• Identify potential cost-saving measures and suggest alternatives
• Prepare and review variation orders and claims
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with budget and contract specifications
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve any cost-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of all cost-related activities
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying in the construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia
• In-depth knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and methods
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office and industry-specific software
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience in precast/pre-stressed concrete projects is a plus
